WHAT WE DO

Sunday Services

Our services of worship are on the Lord’s Day at 11.00 am and 6.30 pm.

The main elements of worship established by God are praise, prayer, reading and exposition of the Scriptures, and breaking of bread.

Crèche

We have a beautiful Crèche Room, well stocked with lots of books, toys and games for pre-school children. Crèche is available from 11.00 a.m. each Sunday Morning through to the end of the Morning Service, and is staffed by helpers from the Church, although with babies and younger children, parents are welcome to stay.

Prayer

Prayer is perhaps the greatest privilege given to the people of God on earth and it carries with it the greatest promise of the greatest power.

Public prayer meetings are:

Sunday 6.00 - 6.30 p.m.
Tuesday 9.30 - 10.30 a.m.
Wednesday 8.00 - 9.00 p.m.

Bible Classes

The Bible Classes meet on Sunday mornings to study the Bible in an informal setting. We aim to mentor our young people in Bible knowledge, prayer and the discovery of the riches of truth in the Word of God through the Bible Classes.

Sunday School

Sunday is the best day of the week and Sunday School is the best type of school ... and if you are looking for a great Sunday School then let me suggest Larne Baptist’s.

Quest

Quest

Treasure hunts, bake-offs, demolitions, Lego masters, alien eggs, competitions, amazing prizes, and quizzes are some of the ingredients which make up our exciting Friday nights at Quest. And the best part is to hear stories from the Bible about our amazing Creator and King.

Ladies Fellowship

Our women’s fellowship meets at 8pm on the second Tuesday of every month when we seek to build one another up in love and in the knowledge of our wonderful Saviour Jesus Christ and to support His work both at home and abroad.

Youth Fellowship

Youth Fellowship is a safe and welcoming environment for those of secondary school age to meet, play games, build friendships and learn what it means to live a grace-filled life.

Our desire is to see young people come to faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and walk in fellowship with Him.

We meet in the Church Youth Lounge on Sunday evenings from 8 - 9:15pm.

Patch

PATCH

PATCH is our Parent and Toddler group. It is one of our church ministries which is open to the whole community for preschool babies and children with their carers. We aim to provide a safe and happy environment for your children to play and socialise, while allowing you to have a cuppa and a chat with other parents and our church PATCH team.

Friday morning from 10.00 - 11.30am (term time)

Almond Tree

The Almond Tree meets on the last Friday of each month from 12.00-2.00pm.

This event is for people aged over 50. We enjoy fellowship, along with a short varied programme and share lunch together. We welcome people to join with us from all walks of life. Even if you don’t come to our Church on a regular basis it would be lovely if you could join us as we reach out into our community.

CAFE +

Café +

Café Plus is a community outreach drop-in centre, operated by and held in the premises of Larne Baptist Church.  We open each Friday from 8pm to 10pm (when restrictions allow).

Christianity Explored

Christianity Explored

Christianity Explored is a 7 session/7-week look at the Gospel of Mark, where we examine, who Jesus is, why he came and what our response to him should be.  Courses can be offered on a one-to-one basis, or in a group setting.  The course is delivered in a relaxed way, where participants can take part in discussion, ask questions, or just listen, but where no pressure is put on anyone.  Make up your own mind!

If you’re interested in taking part in a course, ring Scott on 07552788120.
