sunday services
God has called out of the world a people to be His very own whose supreme purpose is to praise Him and proclaim His Glory.
The most significant time in the life of the Church is when God’s people set aside all other interests and duties and gather together to adore, praise and worship God which is:
- a proclamation of our faith – gathered out of the world to worship God
- an expression of our love – as together we offer prayer and praise to God and hear His Word.
- an anticipation of our hope – which foreshadows the great day when God will gather together all His elect and our chief joy will be to worship Him.
The main elements of worship established by God are praise, prayer, reading and exposition of the Scriptures and breaking of bread.
Our services of worship are on the Lord’s Day at 11.00 a.m. and 6.30 p.m.
In addition there are occasionally special services of praise and proclamation.
